Hope someone out there is having all the same FUN problems with hosting an internet game with JK JA that I am. I have a SMC700ABR router that I configured to allow me to host games in Jedi Knight II. It worked like a charm, but won't work at all with JK JA. I have gone to Lucas Arts and looked up the UDP ports to open and they are the same ones listed as JK II. I have read the posts about server problems and have edited 2 jamp.exe shortcuts with "C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy\GameData\jamp.exe" +set net_port 29071 --to play

and

"C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy\GameData\jamp.exe" "C:\Program Files\Lucasarts\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy\GameData\jamp.exe" +set net_port 29070 +set dedicated 2 +exec server.cfg --to serve with the server.cfg in the base dir.

My buddies and I can play now but I still can't host a game and I have the most stable computer. The ports listed by Lucasarts are 02860, 02861, 02862, 02870-02881 and the ports listed in the above shortcut targets are 02970 and 02971

I tried open these ports and nothing.

anybody have any ideas?
