I have heard tell that OFP runs nowhere near like it should on computers with good hardware, sometimes even worse than a computer with poor hardware. However, mine is a few specs up from yours and it seems fine. Some pointers:

  • What version of OFP are you using?
  • Try increasing the framerate setting in Options, I think it does nothing but you might aswell try.
  • The game may have detected that you have better hardware and jammed up the settings to compensate. Try opening the preferences in Windows and have a look.
  • Make sure, for example, that the visibility isn't jammed to the maximum.

All I can think of right now.
