Fragland.net has some screen shots of Ofp 2 on thus page http://www.fragland.net/screenshot.php?gid=1162&i=1 They don't look amazing but with massive maps with loads of units fighting at the same time its not really a big thing.

According to a few sources... It's not going to be called Operation Flashpoint 2. It'll now be called 'Armed Assault', because Bohemia Interactive split with Codemasters and Codemasters own the rights to the name. And there are alot more screenshots on OFPFiles - http://operationflashpoint.filefront.com/news/OFP_2_Screenshots;18602

I just read that the team that made OFP (Bohemia) will make Armed Assault as an unofficial succesor or remake sort of thing of the original OFP, this game will be released this year. Codemasters will release the official succesor OFP 2 at then end of 2006. This is really disappointing and I saw a preview of Enemy Insight a while back which is being developed by the team that made Hidden & Dangerous 2 and Mafia (Illusion Softworks) and looks more impressive sofar. Planned release of this game is Q4 2005.
I love that digital camo that the Marines are using. I wish I had a pair of those new BDUs. I have several pairs of BDUs at home and one of those new Army ACU digital camo ones too.
OFP2 and Armed Assault are two different games, both being made by Bohemia. The difference between the two is Armed Assault is the one with the OFP1 type Graphics, OFP2 is the one with the much better graphics.

I won't go into any details of what has been achieved, but I'll say this.
All you non-believers and infidels! Repent, for you've been wrong!
Basically I finally have a reason why I live.
First of all OFP XBOX is not a drained down system. It has its own improvements, and the work that was put in by BIS was worthwhile. I have not been a vocal skeptic about XBOX, but I had my questions on whether they were making right choices or not. Now I know they did. The experience gained from XBOX development has been quite helpful in development. There is no noticible shortcoming that I saw from OFPR and OFP XBOX.(but then again, I'm not a good judgement maker =P) XBOX version has its own grounds.
Armed Assault is a new engine for OFP. You can play OFP in new engine, much like relationship between CS and CS:Source. There are improvments over OFP:R, and some other features that I'm willing to shell out money to buy. When it hits the shelves, you won't be able to resist it!
OFP2 is still a work in progress, but to me this was a work that is beyond my expectation already. It was so astonishing that I was wondering if BIS can do any better than OFP2. in all aspects - rendering, physics, and some technical details - the engine will satisfy you when they are released(I have NO IDEA WHEN IT IS BUT IT IS DAMN WORTH IT!)
So I can say with my confidence that there is nothing Flashpointers have to worry about. Once it is released, you will lose your job, girlfriend, because OFP2 will be worth it.
I'd like to thank BIS crew at E3 for putting up with me drooling on the floor.
note to members: I wish I could post more, but I have a life and cannot post more often. Even if you ask questions, I'll be quite hesitant to give you answers anyway since all those glues I ate are now affecting my memory."
Wow, you did your research, good job.
Maybe you should work for OFPFILES :p
