Hey guys, I have an idea that just hit me yesterday when I met a guy that was new to the game. I started training him in most of the moves. After we were finished, he knew how to use all the saber staff's special moves, making him a much more powerful player. Well, I think that we should create a special server online once or twice a week in a FFA map, to welcome people new to the game and to teach them. With several trainers, each one could teach different abilities. Such as one person, who knows lightsaber combat really well, would teach the 'students' how to fight. After the student has learned how to use each saber style individually, each student may choose a lightsaber and each trainer must also choose one. When one trainer and one student have chosen their sabers and powers, they will engage in a duel, as practise for the student to use his new abilities. Another trainer might teach force powers to the students, explaining each force power (if they don't already know) and how to use it. Another trainer might teach tactics and strategies to the students. However, if we have many trainers, we can develop a much more personalized training course, such as one-on-one training, giving the trainer the ability to answer their student's question. In my opinion, this will make Jedi Academy live up to its name. Any comments, suggestions, questions, or ideas would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

Well, all I can say is that combat is not a priority among the Jedi. They prefer to end conflicts peacefully and use the lightsaber only as a means of defense. All you would be doing is "buying" the brand name, for it wouldn't be a true Academy. An Academy is a place to share knowledge to better ourselves and others. Violence destroys all that.
