both wrong, but why do you want to bind them? focus, you must. If you really cant do them without a bind, you will find the answer

okay, I am a binder, if you don't like it - i don't care. I don't want to hear any derogatory commentary just because people like to bind, if you are good enough, whether a person binds or not should not matter. people bind because they are lazy & it's easier to do than putting it in manually.

here's how it works, there are 3 special move buttons...

Blue Lunge, Slice & Dice with Kata/Staff bind [key you want to bind] "+attack; +movedown; +forward"

Red/Yellow DFA, Crab Twirl with Katas, Butterfly with Staff bind [key you want to bind] "+attack; +moveup; +forward"

Twirl the whatever around bind [key you want to bind] "+attack; +altattack"

Kicking, Running up a wall, Grabbing a wall bind [key you want to bind] "+moveup; wait; wait; -moveup; wait; wait; +moveup"

Hope that helps. For those lamers that like to complain about its use, get some skills & stop complaining about it.

Swat_KatYou want to bind moves?????? NO SKILL involved IMO.[/QUOTE]If you are good enough, whether the person binds or not won't matter. It's not a world of difference but it does help a little. It can make or break some fights if you slip up during specials at times, which most people do from one time to another; But don't think for one second that just because you bind specials, you're going to do the special everytime. You can still mess up even though it's bound.

Anyways, you're not going to conquer the JK3 online scene just because you bind some moves, there's still plenty of skill needed to win a duel. Try to be a little more open minded towards it please, I mean, if you don't want to - that's fine, you're more than entitled to your own opinion but please don't try & ruin it for those of us who do enjoy doing so.[QUOTE=Picsa]cheater asses

It's not cheating, it's something that's built into the game purposely.

If you were playing your XBox online & you were using a macro controller while your opponent didn't have one, are you cheating then? If anything, this is more fair because everyone can do this, you don't need to go out & buy any macro controller. This isn't some game bug or game exploit, Raven left that there for a reason because in case you didn't notice, this doesn't work for single player.

This type of gameplay was intended, if it wasn't, Raven would make it so that you can't do this. The only real advantages to this is it is more reliable & easier to do - nothing more.

Some people think that you can do the moves faster this way - you can't. I'm a developer for JK2 & JK3 (among a few other games as well) & I've been doing this type of thing before the internet was even big & you had to play on local BBS's with Doom. I know my stuff man, this isn't cheating.

:) binding attacks got a bit easier in jk3 now, in jk2 it was more to combine etc. and, it's no cheating... is it cheat to bind w forward for walking forward? no. the moves are easy, so you don't even need any special skill to perform them. so there ain't any difference if you press 3 buttons at the same time, or just one, which is more usefull. the reason for binding isn't not being able to perform moves without, it's rather... well... lazyness (kinda  ) so... not much to do with cheating. (skill is much more than being able to hit 3 lousy keys for performing a special)

No comment anymore on bindings, it's personaly cheating. Because you can ACCIDENTLY miss your move whether you are good or not Marker.

well, that's actually it. losing a hard fight because of accidently missing a move (although you're good) is not the enemy's skill, is it? a victory shouldn't rely on wether you accidently miss an attck or not, but on skill.
