I baught MOHPA a few days ago.., plays alright, i know my vidcard isnt the greatst but yea. When people run, they kinda run slow at some points, and also, when people talk, its like watching a chung foo movie..their mouths are moving after they have spoken and stuff.it sucks, i updated my on board soundcard but that messed up my sound so i got rid of it, i have the latest direct x 9c, and my vid card is updated as well. Idk what else to do. Specs- Win xp home sp2 Intel p 4 2.8 512MB RAM pc3200 400 Gigabyte Radeon 9200SE 128 MB 80 gig hd Asus p4p800s mobo

It's your vid card. I dont think the 9200 series support DirectX9. IF you want to play the game faster and with better graphics you should buy a DX9 compitable card. I have the GF FX 5200, it is DX9 compitable but i cant play everything on max. I recommend a better card then that. The rest of your system is good enough. If you got a lot of money to spend you can buy a new memory card, a 512 Mb DDR one. so your total memory will be 1024 MB wich is a lot. A good vid. card can be the RadeonX800. the best card till now. But i dont know how much money you have, and how many you want to spend. Your system with the changes above will become a perfect game machine. If you want so ofcourse.

Quote from the site: Specifications: Chipset/Core Speed: ATI RADEON 9550/250MHz Memory/Effective Speed: 256MB DDR/400MHz BUS: AGP 8X Ports: VGA Out (15 Pin D-Sub) + TV-Out (S-Video) + DVI-I Support 3D API: DirectX 9.0, OpenGL 2.0 Cable/Accessories: A/V cable, S-Video cable, Installation Guide, Driver CD, WIN DVD Player Max Resolution@32bit Color: 2048X1536 Retail Box (See pics for details) Me: - Good enough, really. I wish i had a card like that. Quote from the site: $80. Me: - Is that cheap? I dont know cuz we pay with Euro's. Can you tell me how many euro's that are? ------------- Tough I have never heard about this card I think it's a very good one. 8X AGP is good. 256 MB DDR, is a lot. And this is important for you: Support 3D API: DirectX 9.0, OpenGL 2.0 If you are planning to buy this one can you tell me how you feel about this card then? I wanna know cause I'm planning to buy a new one as well. ------------- Here's something about the best cards in the world. The Radeon X800 vs. the GeForce 6800. You can read more about it here: http://www.nordichardware.com/reviews/graphiccard/2004/r420/ Note that these card are much more expensive as the one you showed me with your link. But these 2 are the best cards on the world.

Wait... Radeon Card: Chipset/Core Speed: 250MHz Memory/Effective Speed: 400MHz GF FX 5200 (mine): Chipset/Core Speed: 250 MHz Memory/Effective Speed: 400 MHz Umm so as you can see the import things are the same. So i dont think this card will get your PA faster. Shit I'm sorry I made a mistake. Sorry for disapointing you. Tough the 256 MB DDR is good. So do not buy this card, i dont think your PC will get a lot of faster. Sorry again. I have done some searching around and found some interesting things here: http://apps.ati.com/ATIcompare/result.asp I dont know how expensive they are. But for that you can do some scouting around. The important things are: Chipset/Core Speed (MHz) The Higher the better Memory/Effective Speed (MHz) The Higher the better Total memory: (MB) The Higher the better Direct X 9 compitable": Also important for MOHPA. Remember these things and compare them to your card. If these values are higher the card is better and faster. Do some scouting around and compare. And I feel sorry for making you happy for nothing. Sorry. Good luck further, Mark de Lange
