Yess. I am not sure what a clan is all about, but I hear that clan members have to go to weekly or daily meetings ro they get kicked etc. Sorry, i just never lernd about clans. I would like to be able to fight alongside some other soldiers but I am not the most experienced player either. I just don't like to play with the people who like to TK and fool around all the time instead of working as a team to own the enemy. I also don't want the responsibility of having to attend daily or weekly meetings because I go out of town all the time. I have been asked to join clans be4 playing other games but the term is still new to me and I thouth they were talking of an organization I would not like to be in.... So can anyone tell me of some of the benefits of being in clams and such?:deal:

Hey destruction, I guess there's a first for everything, including learning about clans. First of all, its not clams its clans :) . A clan is a group of players who decide to come together and enjoy the love for whatever game they are playing, such as Battlefield: Vietnam. Every clan is different. Some clans are in leagues and are more serious than other clans. Some clans have more rules than other clans, and some don't even have practices.

I hope this betters your understanding of what a clan is :bows: :cya:

LoL, sorry man I can't help but to call clans clams ones in a while. I guess im probly the only one who would laugh at sucha stupid thng. haha. No offense to the clans though, Im sure they are really cool. I just try to be lighthearted and joke a little because they can seem so cold sometimes, to noobs at least. (probly just a group I came across) Really no offense, Im sure that clans have great benefits and I would like to know more. Im just wondering if sifting through the forums to find the root of the purpose of clans or how they operate, if I could ever fit into one, is a good idea in the folks opinion who have been there. I would like to know that, and appreciate your responses. Its no bother if you don't want to tell me. Im sure everyone thinks Im a noob because I posted 20 times about my new mod today.. lol thats kew, cause I am. haha. I wanted to know what peeps thought before I even had it all set and posted ready for DL. I feel like a fool now, but I have felt that way be4...

I just noticed your post and I thank you very much for the reply. Definetly helps me. I really appreciate your graciousness with me as well because I don't think many would take me serious when I say I really don't know and would like information about a thing I assume most take for granted. It sounds to me like a family of sorts, but just a group that probly looks out for each other. Its good to know that clans are flexible in their rules and meeting schedules. I was really under the assumtion that they had some sort of crazy regimine, almost like joining a real army! (probly just someone jokeing with me) I think doing a bit more research into clan operations is in order now that I know at least these basics. Hopefully this will help anyone else who doesn't know yet as well! Very cool, again thanx! for all the replies!!!

I have never been in a clan on the BF series. I would like to join a mature clan that doesn't really take the game that serious, and expect me to play every day. I play for fun and stress relief, but would not mind a organized game once in a while. I am not "leet" or anything, but I can def hold my own in the air, and on the ground:)

Hi there,

The only way you can get to know a clan is either joining it or spectating it. We are looking for european recruits. We are a skilled clan who is relaxed, but we get serious when we need to :daddy: We are on ClanBase and soon going onto the BF:V Conquest Ladder and we are trying to get a TS2 server. We have practices randomly but not day after day. If you are intrested check us out by our forums by our site www.sotb-clan.tk or add me to your MSN (u will need it to join): cptmatrix@hotmail.com If you wanna know more about =SotB= of course! :sarrow:

Now recruiting.

Founded by a group of friends to promote clean play and fun. We are a mature squad looking for some quality players. We know the balance between real life and the game.

The Iron Rangers are committed to maintaining a gaming community that will promote team growth, mutual respect, clean fun and continuing game education. Although Battlefield 1942, RTR and Battlefield Vietnam are our core games, the group promotes new gaming to keep excitement and interest active.

The squad does not create ranks and levels of members. After joining, new members go through a 30-day probationary period to insure that a good fit exists. The Iron Rangers recruit selectively, with the primary consideration being the persons fit with the group. We enjoy newer players and recognize that all of us at some point were new.

We welcome visitors to our server and forums. We hope to provide a refreshing Battlefield Community that attracts mature players of all skills!

Visit our website at www.ironrangers.net

The Iron Rangers name is derived from the real life 1st Battalion, 16th Infantry Division which had a distinguished service record in Vietnam.
