Hey Guy's and Gal's. I was wondering if anyone could help me in finding a tutorial to mod the Intro in UT 2004 from the Nvidia logo to the ATi logo....i did it before in UT2003 but being a pothead, i cant remember how to do it and ive lost the tutorial. Any help would be greatly apprecciated....thank you in advance.

At ut2003files.com, go to mods and click on it, then startupscreen. You'll see the Ati replacement file at the top.

I'd say that's a load of codswallop. It's basically only replacing one set of textures at startup with another. Does not interfere with gameplay at all. Anyone out there know any better?

I wouldn't download ANYTHING that modifies/overwrites the system files. The fact is, you never know what the next cheat protector might disallow... back in UT2003 I changed some botfiles and about 6 months after the game was out, a cheat protector was released that wouldn't let you in if you didn't have the exact same version of xplayersL1.upl. Some cheat protectors scan for the same texture files too, and although you wouldn't think the nvidia logo texture would matter when it comes to cheating, I highly recommend backing up the original files before overwriting anything. You might not have any problems now, but you don't want to have to reinstall the game in six months' time just because you didn't make backups.
