How does one cut Static Meshes?

... I'm using the static mesh 'BarrenHardware-epci.decos.serp-trim-bedin' for a small corner. The corner is smaller than the mesh i was wondering if or how i could cut the mesh so a piece isn't sticking out of the wall...

Attached is a horrible picture of the situation :) Any help is much appreciated, Thanks, ~Inferno~ or PX_Inferno

WEll after i tested i found that it worked great.. i scaled down the x axis and all was well. thanks you again..........

well maybe it wasn't... the shape gets wicked demented and deson't fit with the other trim...... is there away i could expor this mesh to maya or something and trim it down?
