You can't legally download the full RTCW game. You need to buy it to play online. You can download the multiplayer demo of RTCW. You can download Enemy Territory. Its a full free multiplayer first person shooter game. The game was originally going to be a retail expansion pack for RTCW but the project was cancelled and the folks at Activision decided to release the multiplayer part for free.
