i've been trying to figure out how to rip off the models and other aspect of american army. so that i could apply then into and insert and compile them into a small military mod unreal tournament2003. if any one has any ideas on the subject or know hows to convert game files plese contact me. since the game is already build off the unreal engine i dont think ther should be too many problems doing this. please reply your thoughts

If I were you, I would read the End User License Agreement (EULA) and any readme files that came with the game first. They may have restricted you from doing just that. We recently had a big discussion about this over levels in the UT2003 retail package. The EULA, in the case of UT2003 clearly stated you weren't allowed to directly rip off any the maps.

as of now i dont think you can extract any aa files, i would love to see the aa models in ut2k3 , infact i made a post about it in a different forum, you would have to e-mail someone on the dev team for americas army, although they use the same engine the games are quite different in some ways, and the army made sure that ut2k3 editing tools wouldnt work for aa, so try e-mailing them to atleast release something so ppl can extrack the models, and maybe make maps.....

Great idea! (/me slaps head). This is exactly what needs to be done.

Maybe you should come up with a plan to avoid being sued first :deal:
