hi, u now on unreal editor it has a grid- does that kill the player if they fall through it. If so how can i stop this from happening? Or do i have to put a kill volume benith the outside walkie round bits?
O and can someone please help he with my other thread called die die die because when i leave a room to go outside and walk through the gap in the wall the player dies:rolleyes: and this needs fixing but how???? therres some pictures on the thread//in mapping section 2
I own like ass when i play ut2003 so why for god sakes do i always suck arse on TTM servers...matches are TTm to. I'm really gettin pissed off by people shooting me down with 3 bullets...this might sound dumb but are there somekinda tricks or what?

well. Going below 0 in the z axis (i.e. the grid) shouldn't kill u. Have u pressed the volume button at all?I think I told u to make some blocking volumes, mabe they turned out to be kill volumes if u messed around with them. Look for a propery called "bpaincausing" or "bdamage" in the properties of any nearby volumes. (I'm not sure if those names are right, but something like it.)
Also, have u split any areas using zone portals yet? Or made any zoneinfos? Or changed to level properties?
there's a property somewhere called killz. It does something. not quite sure what.
No i found it out--i have 2 redo the order stuff...
About these portals and zone stuff, what do i do with them?

U use zoneportals to seal of parts of the map, this way you can optimize your map and do some really cool tricks with zonesinfo's in the zones. Think of lower gravity at certain parts of the map, or distand fog in one zone and not in another.
