The builder brush is what you shape and move to add or subtract spaces, i.e. the red box.

To move stuff, it's best to first select a 2D window, like "top" or "front", then hold shift and the LEFT mouse button and move the mouse. To rotate it, old shift and RIGHT mouse button then move the mouse left or right.

You can move it 3D aswell, by holding: Right mouse button and moving for Y axis, Left mouse button and moving for X axis, Left nad Right mouse button and moving for Z axis.

By the way, I'm not sure klu klux klan and aliens will go together. Aliens maybe, dripping blood maybe, but modern day racial warfare maybe not. If you stick with the space ship thing, that would be cool. It doesn't have to move after all.

For lifts to work you need to read the movers tutrial on UDN.

If you want a custom bmp pic on a wall, you have to import it as a texture. I'm not sure how to do that, but there are loads of cool textures already there.

Personally, I'm still working on my first map, since about 2 months ago. I've been learning it all before releasing it.

I got 3 rooms now :)

Going to make this a huge map... Ill stick with the aliens.

Okay something new this time. Before I go any further with this map I want to check that weapons can be fired through this big gap into a room above.

2 make it short Ill put the URL on of the steps Im taking.

The weapon Xpickupbase wont go onto the map... I see it when I right click?"??

What am I doin wrong....

I get 2 weeks hols in a week...Ummmm all that map making time. :)

OK this would be so much easier if we went to a chatroom or something... Do you have AOL? or msn maybe?

Anyway, when adding things to the level, like static meshes and actors, such as xWeaponBase s and playerstarts, you right click on a surface in a 3D window. If you do it in a 2D window, it might not appear because it doesn't know where you want it on the axis not covered by that window. So ... Right click on a bsp surface or maybe a static mesh, click add xWeaponBase and it should appear. If your camera is underneath where you clicked, you won't see it because it is invisible from the bottom.:)

Im back for another think....

Now this time im alienising a dark towers out or that lord of the rings film...There was a lord of the rings film???

Well yes....

I made the tower in a few hours and want to know if a can kind of cut the whole tower or (maybe rotate it all by 180 degrees and put it @ the other side of my map)

Its goin 2 be a really huge capture the flag map=) Well just 2 massive towers for big lift use>>>

By the way this tower is a monster....

If anyone knows an easy way to make a flying space ship go round in a path like if it was a bot but high up in the space bit---any meshes would be nice+ how 2 do this.....
