Why didn't they include bots in multiplayer mode? Its not as if they haven't gotta do much work?! They had the base code from Quake 3! Seems a little odd for a game that costs £100 million to make that they'd leave something like THAT out... Anyone know of any patches or mods that are gonna b comin' out 2 correct this?

there is the bot commands left over from the Quake 3 game...so it is possible to implenment bots in to the game. I would try but i wouldnt kno where to start when i use the bot commands i get the player is not defined...and i really didnt play Q3A much so i wouldnt kno that much bout it....
here are the commands if you wanna try something or if someone else wants to try
at the console screen type in the following commands....
/bot_enable 1 (default 0) /addbot (name) (skill) (team) (ping)
I've just tried it and your right, they've left the code in. Although it was moaning that i needed 2 specify a botname, I tried a few names from Quake 3 but it was moaning on about them not being defined!
It would be nice to look @ the source code to see whats going on, are they going to release it shortly?

nah not that i know of.... I know you need a .aas file or something like that.... But i dunno how to make or compile one....so im sure someone with some coding experience can make one for this game ....sowwy :(

Have you guys tried looking in Quake 3's .pk3 file to look for bot definitions / .aas files???

yeah, i've looked extensively through the pk3 files and have tried a whole other mess of things, but nothing.
Well... looks like we r gonna hav 2 play the waiting game until they release a bot upgrade or they release the source code so modders can do it themselves (half life being a good example of this one, although none of the bots lived upto the quake 3 standard).

I tried as well to add bots in multiplayer maps but without success so far.
However, I saw in the data disk there are 2 files left about bots.
The location is :directory Doc, then subdirectory Help, then directory _vi_put. the 2 files are botinfs and bots. I can't open them they look like shortcuts.
otherwise, is it possible to use wolf radian to add bots? I can't make SDK wolf work .

Pardon my ignorance, but what do you mean by bots? Robots in RTCW?:D
