I am very new at this and simply wanted to put items like weapons and the ctf flags in a map. I keep getting a geometry collision (I think that is what it said.) my items and weapons are halfway in the ground, it is playable but I want to do this to play and look normal. The items, health vials, that thing the weapons hover over, and the base of the flag. How do I keep these items from doing this? It apparently has something to do with collision (which the collision section has like 12 diffrent things and all these values I don't want to screw up.), I have like 2 hours experience with UnrealED. I thank you all for any help you may give.

The geometry collisions are from your items being halfway in the ground. Raise them up (use side or front view, hold ctrl+left mouse button and adjust accordingly) out of the ground and they'll be fine. Note: you can go straight to the source of the problem by clicking on the item in the debug info after you build the level - saves you from hunting through a hundred different items to find the right one.

You add weapon bases by using the xWeaponBase found under xPickUpBase in the Actor Class Browser. Once you've added the base and positioned it just right, go to its Properties and select the weapon you want to spawn there with the xWeaponBase expandable menu. Just make sure you add some ammo for that weapon
