Just started playing again for the first time in almost a year and I quickly realized how much better the game would be if you could use a joy stick, seeming I am playing the pc game. I was just wondering if you could use a joy stick and if you can how can you configure it to work because mine doesnt work. Thanks for the help!

I don't use a joystick, but I do know that it is possible to have a joystick in the game. Since I don't use a joystick I can't really give you info about options etc... :(

Well I think it's possible to use the joystick since there is few Cvars in the config to set it up. (in_joystick ; in_joyBallScale ; joy_threshold ) This said, I would highly recommend to use the mouse setting in this kind of game, mainly because you can't execute all commands with the joystick, you have to use the keyboard anyway. It's a little bit hard if you had never played like this but I'm quite sure it's the best configuration. Practice it and it will be fine in a short time.

If you really want to use a joystick use it with a keyboard on too, cause else you can't stop and aim, because aiming somwehere is the same as running somewhere with a joystick, just practise with your mouse and build up skills, be nice to others and you'll have heck of a lot of fun (without a joystick :p :p).
