According to my info the default screenshot key is F11 but you can bind it to another key using this command - bind x "screenshot" - where x is the keyboard key.

This info came from this website, it has lots of helpful tips etc. Note you can turn of various info items on your hud as well to make it clearer.

Hmm,

We have a few scripts on our site that will help you take "clean" screenshots, I don't remember the exact locations, but we have 2 or 3 on the site and I have heard/seen comments that they work pretty good.

The only thing with using F11 is that it saves it as a .tga file, which means you have to have a proggy like Adobe or Paintshop to change them over to .bmp's or .jpg's.

Thanks for that CaNNoN, forgot about the tga prob, however there is a trick if you are binding the screenshot mode to another key, you can use this command and it will save as jpg

bind x "screenshotjpeg"

Recording a movie is fairly simple, in fact there is probably a script for it which would be much easier doing it the manual way as detailed in the website below

I am sure since you asked nicely that the next post will be from somone directing you twards a script somewhere.
