Hi im new to this board, im no noob or anything.

I just wanted to say that i just love UT 2003 and i think the levels on it rocks, but most of us if not all of us will allways love and remember the UT levels.

Of course most of us dont want to let go of them.

So i was thrilled that there was a complete remake of Deck 16 out and i loved it, it had been redone to the quality of UT 2003.

Other remakes i liked was the Liandri level and the stalwart level.

These were great, but there are other levels that also fits in the category of favorite UT levels.

If you "talented mappers" perhaps of you who made these levels want to make some new levels again then you should go for these levels cause their the best:

Turbine Tempest Morpheus

Now im not talking about just transfer, but a remake cause id love to see the classics of UT back on UT 2003.

No Flaming please

Yeah i know Turbine rocks and i would love to see a 2003 version of it.

Still i dont want you to think i am a noob just making demands cause ive seen so many of thoose at the MPHQ.com boards, but its just that im no good at mapping for UT.

Turbine's style wouldn't really work with UT2003.. the new game lends itself to wide-open maps, because of the faster speed of action and the new special moves needing plenty of room to pull off effectively. I think a UT2003 port of Turbine would look much too similar to Asbestos...

Tempest's a great map though, it would work really well if, say, the Plunge texture set of concrete contrasted with bright neon strips in places. It's fairly wide-open and would be good for UT2003 combat.

As Plunge is basically a remake of Morpheus, you can't really make a request for another one =P a lot of players hate low-grav maps anyway.

Personally I can't wait for the updated LavaGiant][ that'll be released in the bonus pack-- the one in the beta UT2003 versions was rubbish, but a well-done remake would work brilliantly in the new game. Likewise a REAL remake of Face :P
