EDIT: I forgot that your time is ahead of mine.

DeadeyeLEST WE FORGET THEM

:agreed <------ Lest we forget them... The result of D-Day was bad... lets not forget the people who were involved in this event.

Also, this thread needs to be stickied for a few days. This is an important event in history.

Cheers, imagine if there was no respawn in RTCW, and it was you're life at stake, and you're friends,...

To me RTCW is just a game, for fun yes, like paintball, but not even close to what the real thing was....

Cheers to the REAL soldiers of the world wars, that must have been hell! :drink:

Hey I thought about that before! Would be like "One Life To Live" but it was no game. Wow, this has been your first post in months Admiral! Nice to see you back on the forums!

I came back from Normandy on Saturday, I went to all the events there, but didnt stay on Sunday because it would have been manic....

MAnaged to have a chat with a Veteran, he said he landed on Omaha, and out of 40 medics he was the only one still alive, John Gill was his name

Makes me sad thinking about the loss of all that life (Allies and Germans) for one ignorant man

Yikes, only one out of 40? D-Day must have been hell.... I would hate to have landed there.

Actually with all these computer games the younger people don't even know how bad that war was and that it should NEVER happen again, it looks just like a game to them. I read in the newspapers that something like 70% of the english think that hitler is a boogieman:confused: :( , that shows we really need to pay more attention to that because WAR ISN'T NICE!
