I'm trying to add vehicles to my map (2k4) so I stick in one of the vehcile garage pawns and it shows a vehicle in the editor, however when I test the level it isn't there. I could not find a video tutorial on my DVD which talked about this. Can anyone help? Am I putting the wrong thing in? I want it to spawn the jeep in certain areas.
p.s. this is for a DM level if that matters.
I may be wrong, but I believe that currently vehicles are limited to Assualt/Onslaught for balance reasons.
I hope not, that'd screw up my whole plans :\ can anyone clarify this?
Nope, it is only Assult/Onslaught
wtf that sux balls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! y cant we have a deathmatch with vehicles??? booo
that's really unfortunate, so I'm going to have to modify my rather small map into an onslaught for now... just to test the vehicles in the level, hopefully this glaringly poor decision will be amended in a patch
oh dude...plz plz plz plz make a stunt vehicle map... with ramps and all...plz and u can put the power nodes into places that u can only reach by making a succesfull stunt, like jumping a ramp, or falling of a cliff...
Dont hold me to this, but there is a mutator for this, so you can put vehicles in your deathmatch maps. Please keep posting here untill we figure this out, I also am going try this in the near future. Check ut2003hq.com , they also have a vehicle invasion mutator. Although if this mutator doesn't exist, it really would be simple for someone who does make mutators alot.

that's a great idea! I'll get right on it, however I have little mapping experiance (some for HL) so it will function but the first release might look rough :D
