Games like call of duty and ut 2003 like to freeze.. I am playing the game then suddenly my screen freezes and lots of colors and all sorts of colored squares pop up... My comp is not responding anymore so i have to restart. Its a big problem because im in a CoD clan... And it does hapen often enough to be a huge problem... And it happens because of my gay video card: NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 440 Is there something i can install, download, or change to stop this problem?? :tommy: :tank: :recon:

Maybe your pc is to slow? Or else try to download the latest video-driver from nvidea. I have the same video-card but i've no problems with it. try the thing above and it might be fixed, if not i can't help you any further

if you have a an AGP 8X card . and motherboard , try putting it back to 4x the reason that this happens is because a signal from your 3d card is send to your motherboard and send back , so your card basicly comes into loop .

I also have this when I pit my agp card on 8x ( even with my agp8x card AND motherboard ) besides , you wont notice the difference between the 2 anyway .

k , dont know much about nvidea cards , but there should be an option somwhere where you can set the AGP speed of your graphics card ,

if you have it set on 8x , just turn it back to 4x , restart your pc , and see if it has stopped .
