Hmm, well #1 is the play disc but as youve said you tried them all. Thats wierd, try going into the system folder and open the unreal ini file and make sure the cd path is correct. Besides that i have no clue:uhoh:

HI,

the reason why u are required to have a ut2003 cd in your machine when u play is for security.

You can find a hack that replaces your ut2003.exe file (in your system folder) for one that bypasses the need to have a cd in your machine. This speeds up boot times (a lot) and saves your official ut2003 cd from getting scratched. Note that pirates are foiled by the cd-key. No two ut2003's on-line can have the same cd-key. So multiple installs are not viable (good thing too). Even if they were u should not do it.

Go to gamecopyworld.com and search for ut2003. Download the right no-cd hack for your patch (e.g., for patch 2199). Unzip it and replace the ut2003.exe file in your system folder for the hacked ut2003.exe. (best to copy your original ut2003.exe file and keep it somewhere safe just in case you need it).

Now u will be able to play ut2003!!!

Happy fragging!!!

Sounds to me like someone has a pirated copy of the game.

Hi,

another way to achive the no cd result is to download the new patch 2225; this removes the cd check!!!

And it fixes a lot of stuff - its only about 12Mb.
