Hi all

Got UT2003, instant action works cool. But when i go to single player, I create a player, click on play, get the loading screen for 2-3 minutes and then it crashes to desktop.

I have installed the latest patch, updated to the latest GFX drivers, updated DX (using win XP)

My system is: 1GHz AMD Athlon 128MB RAM 40GB HD Nvidia TNT64 with 32MB RAM SBLive! soundcard Windows XP

I am running at low detail levels at 640x480 - like I said, instant action works fine.

Also running Norton Antivirus and Firewall in the background - I guess thats eating into the RAM, could that be it? Any help would be greatly appreciated :stallard:

Cheers

Mu

Try turning off all programs running in the background and if you have chosen to use EAX in the game sounds, turn it off also.

i'm in no way trying to be harsh in the following statement: Get a new friggin graphics card, then watch the problems all go away, and get the visual quality with ut2k3 that you payed for!

what ever the problem is, the game is crashing before the friggin shweet cinematic...

Thanx 4 the input It just so happens I have a spare GF2 with 64MB of RAM in the loft in my spare system - I think I'll have to bust that puppy out along with a spare stick of 128MB PC133 and see if that does the job. Its a b***h, cuz it now also happens when I try to get on-line to play. I'll post again once I've installed the new card and let you kno how it went

Cheers
