1. no lag here, don't go to the japanese server!!!
2.That's the nasty PB kick which is told about in my other thread, PB will be working on it 3.i found this out: the sprocket gives you 3% (sometimes 2 but mostly 3) though only 3 will be dropped with one dropping from the airplanes, the batteries give 2% and sometimes 3 and the stick thingies give 2. 4.You can get some % off the generator with all kins of explosions, the bigger the explosion( dynamite) the more % goes off! Hope i helped you enough! :p
i get kicked off the rotation every time again ... it stinks ... it S*cks ... and most time's i can't even connect to the servers ...
#3 can be change bij the admin. So yes they could be diffrent.
I dont have the "getting kicked by a unknown error". But I see lots of players getting kicked at the start of a new map with the error: No packet flow.
I think that that has to do something with the error.
anythign i can do about it
no not really ,maybe this helps if you are lucky didn't help to me:
We found this not only happening in DG, but also in other mods and for RTCW itself. The testers that we've worked with having this error on a regular basis solve it by following the information below to perfectly. If you've having this issue please try it.
Memory You will get the best perfomance if your memory size is => 256 mb. Com_hunkMegs and Com_soundMegs, should not use more than 3/4 of your total memory.
128 Mb ram: com_hunkMegs 72, com_soundMegs 24. 192 Mb ram: com_hunkMegs 112, com_soundMegs 32. 256 Mb ram: com_hunkMegs 160, com_soundMegs 32.
If you set these values to high, you will get less FPS
Sound setup By adjusting the S_mixAhead you can gain some extra FPS, but if you are setting the value too low, it will have a bad effect on you sound. You have to test it to see what values that performs best on you system
S_mixAhead 0.2: 50.8 FPS - (Okay sound) S_mixAhead 0.14: 53 FPS S_mixAhead 0.1: 55 FPS S_mixAhead 0.09: 55.9 FPS S_mixAhead 0.08: 56.4 FPS S_mixAhead 0.07: 57.1 FPS - (Noise is appearing) S_mixAhead 0.066: 57.6 FPS - (More noise) S_mixAhead 0.05: 58.9 FPS - (No sound.)
Test it, and please post your results in the forum.
Net tweaking By adjusting Cl_maxPackets you can control how many packets you send to the server. Default value is 30 and max value is 100. By raising this value you will get a more smooth feeling when you play, but for some reason you ping will be calculated wrong, when you raise it from it's default value.
Cg_predictItems, the default value is 1, which means that it's your computer that decides wether you have picked something up or not. BUT, because the server always decides, if you have picked something up, you can get into trouble. Better change this to 0.
If you have alot of packet loss then cl_packetdup should be left at it''s default value, which is 1. If you have a good connection, then set this to 0 to preserve some bandwith.
If you have a high ping then you should adjust cl_timenudge. If you have a very slow connection you could set the value to "-30", this should make your game more playable. Do NOT set the value lower than "-50" or your game will get unplayable.

it helped at first i thought ... but nope still didn't work ... :'(
It's crap, it's PBs fault there's some bug in PB you can read something about it in Ignacio's post in the WW forum, PB wrote it down high on their priority list but it don't hink anything is done yet :(:(:( I'ts freaking annoying to get kicked all the time
yep that's why i don't play it yet ... :uhm: stupid PB get it over with ... can't they just put the pb off ?
