well look :deal: u download the maps to like ur C drive or whereever u have wolf installed ok then after its finished loading it should be opened with winzip and then after u open it most of them will have the name of the map as one of the directories with a mini winzip icon on the left u right click that and click extract and u extract it to
C:\Program Files\Return to Castle Wolfenstein\Main
if it doesnt have the mini winzip icon next to the name of the map just click extract on the winzip box and extract it to
C:\Program Files\Return to Castle Wolfenstein\Main
good luck cya :cya:
you probley need to learn your windows operating system and how files are placed and how to navigate. The map paks are all pk3's which is just a .zip file with the name changed. If you were to look in your Wolfenstein directory you would notice that in the main folder there are other pk3's there. ummmmmm. It would stand to reason that the downloaded pk3's would go in to RTCW main folder.
This should have been posted on a gaming board and not the mapping and skins board. This forum is for more for map related questions and not simple things such as this.....
It's not a shame you didn't found it, I didn't to in the first time. But when I was looking trough the whole directory I found some map names I use(d). So then I places all those maps I downloaded into that directory and they all worked. Just place them all in the Main folder in your Return to Castle Wolfenstein directory!
