I have a question, how can I increase the gamma on my RTCW game. Everything is quite dark, and I do have brightness and Contrast AND my moniter at full brightness.
It's only RTCW that is dark all other games are fine  :(
Slightly cooler than a n00b

I know what you mean admiral, the same happens to me. It is because for some reason RTCW does not cause my monitor to enter "game" mode where it is brighter. The same thing is probably happening to you.
As for changing gamma, theres a console command, something like "/set gamma #" I think.....

try to set r_intensity higher, like /r_intensity 2.2
Yes I did this with my old computer when Hewster told me the gamma command. Then when I got my new computer it was no problem. When I did this with my old computer, the outside places where very bright, and the dark places where a normal shade.
I'll try those command things out matey!
Heheh!  :drink: :stallard:
Cheers, got this tune uploaded for a bit!
Be sure to tell us if you get it sorted out! :D
hmm.. if it's over 1.5 then I can't play, oh well... I need to develop my night (at day) vision!
Tram seems to be the best ;)
What is your gamma currently set to? I thought I heard somewhere that if its above a certain level, PB will kick you. But it might not be true.

There are a few thing you can do to make it brighter: (pb limits)
seta r_vertexLight "1" seta r_gamma "2" seta r_mapoverbrightbits "2" seta r_overbrightbits "2" seta r_intensity "1.5"
Check those in your wolfconfig_mp.cfg or just enter them in the console. If you use any mods then add them to those configs aswell.
