I installed the RTCW from the CD and triedto launch the game. The only thing that my computer does is switch back and forth between resolutions and stops at giving me the tanish screen right before the videos. I get sound, but the only thing that I see is the tan screen before the videos start. I have no idea what is going on, but if someone could please help that would be great. I have an AMD 3200+ ATI Radeon 9800Pro I am using the Omega 2.59 drivers for the video card. I also tried the 1.41 patch and it did the same thing as the CD did.

are you overclocking your video card? if so, scale it back some. how much ram do you have? i would also try removing all your vid drivers, including the omega drivers, and install the latest factory ones-see if it plays then...there's also a right up here on the catalyst 4.10 drivers you should look at. but somebody may have better advice for you...*looks around for vip3r*

Yes first thing you should do is upgrade your video card drivers. Maybe it has something to do with the modified omega drivers. There are already new ones out for omega: http://www.omegadrivers.net/ati/win2k_xp.php

And for the official ones you can go here: https://support.ati.com/ics/support/KBAnswer.asp?questionID=640

Those links will bring you both to the win2k and winxp versions. GL!

Every time i start the game, it shows that tan screen, then the main menu comes up. I play online all the time. I have an ati 128 pro, its cool. Thou having 128 mb ram is an understatement in wolf sometimes, cuse people just wizz right by me sometimes. But ur problem sounds serious. Could be ur video cards doing it, or its a bad copy. Try reinstalling and stuff.

I figured out what the problem was. I was using a program called Glidewrapper for Longbow 2 and I uninstalled that and it started to work.
