Hey all, I got a question in the single player conquest mode.

Anyway, I was travelling around, bugging the hell out of the romulans, when I notice that there are different types of ships.

i.e. Klingons can have Bird or Prey, or Bird of Prey Mk I, II, or III Federation ships have Nebula, Nebula A, Nebula B, Nebula BS, etc and Romulans have Warbird, Warbird R, Warbird RS...

anybody know what the letters mean, and which ones are the better ones? I guessed that Mk III would probably be better than Mk I, but other than that, I'm clueless.

and... sometimes, when I'm trying to get someone to join my fleet, a message says "[So and so] would break the limit on their ship class if they joined your fleet"

I have no idea what this means...! Anybody?

You usually can only bring two ships with you, or at higher levels, one of equal size and one smaller one, I think.

As for the ship classes:

F=Freighter FF=Frigate DD=Destroyer CL=Cruiser, Light CA=Cruiser, Armored (Heavy Cruiser) BCH=Battlecruiser DN=Dreadnought BB=Battleship

Edit line in MetaAssets/Serverprofiles/Singleplayer/Missionmatching.

The line is at the end of file ( bottom ) and is named Fleet with num 1 for this you have talked about and num 0 for no check of any limit. This way you can have small ship for you and the biggest 2 as wingmans. I had 3 scimitars and there was a starbase. He,He,He.
