Can somebody help me? That is the only message I get when trying to connect to the following server IP:

It says "awaiting Gamestate" and then brings me back out to the main menu screen and gives me configstring > MAX_CONFIGSTRING

It has happens to me quite awhile, but I just reconnect and it is solved. :)

right restarting your config

/exec configcfg

something like that in console, try resetting your config to defult this problem is something to do with what your config says, ahve you done anything to it as of late?

Maybe your wolfconfig.cfg is too big for this server. Try to split what you added in it in other files.cfg. Or just for a test, cut/paste your config somewhere and starts the game (wolf will make a default one automatically) and see if it's the problem.

i have a fairly stock config and i get that message about 9/10 times when trying to join most all servers.

cant figure out how to fix the problem??

Keep reconnecting untill you join the server, unless of course your config file is about 100kb. If it is, try to split it.
