Ok, I have installed RtCW and it worked fine until I enter a game with Punkbuster on. I will be in the game for MAYBE 5 seconds before my whole game crashes. I unistalled it and reinstalled it and a PB game worked for about 3 minutes before it crashed again. The game works perfectly when I am in a game when PB is not enabled. But, when I enter a game with it on, I cannot play because it crashes everytime. I am not cheating either, just installed and played. Can someone please resolve this problem for me and tell me what I should do. Thank you.
Try updating it with pbsetup
You can also reinstall it with that program. It will then install the latest client.
I downloaded pbsetup and installed updates, but my game still just crashes.
This is so annoying because I basically cannot play the game at all. Only servers with no PB, but no one plays thoses...
I need to find out the problem. Is there something wrong with my computer? I dont know but I have reinstalled it three times now and it still just crashes when entering a PB game. PLEASE help me find the answer.
