i cant play a mod if i cant play rtcw can i?

You need to have RTCW installed and have MP working and have your game upto the 1.41 patch in order to play it. In my opinion, its better than plain old RTCW MP.

Manual delete the wolf folder. Then use a registry cleaner to find the leftovers of rtcw in the registry. Then reinstall.
I use TuneUp utilities to keep my pc "clean". But maybe there is a smaller free program for you to use. Like on download.com
