fine :) 1 hint because almost all masters are sometimes down:

If you have several applications which are using the masterserver (like RTCW itself or even other browsers) you could also do the follwing:

1. add in C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts the line 192.246.40.70 rtcwmaster (so its just an alias for that IP - you may check with "ping rtcwmaster")

2. tell all your apps and RTCW that they shall use rtcwmaster:27950

the advantage: next time this master is down you need only to change the IP in C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts to another one and all your other applications will use the other master from now

(in Linux case edit the file "/etc/hosts" instead!)

PS: in that hosts file you could also place aliases for your favorite gameservers so you dont need to remember their IPs for example in hosts the line: 216.243.118.211 pengo

and /connect pengo connects you to Happy Penguin :) (if the gameserver dont uses default port 27960 then you need to type the port in in connect command too of course)

EDIT: I just see that master servers usually dont answer a ping (maybe to preven DoS) so dont wonder if you get error if you tried that!
