I can't get my OpenGL to run. When I try to open the game in any part of it (single, multiplayer) it gives me the message "could not load OpenGL subsystem". Why? I even went to all the sites I could find and updated everthing to the latest and greatest I could find. All the RTCW files are at 1.36 and 1.41, so that's not a problem. I even found an update for OpenGL. I dun get it. Oh well. Maybe it'll all work out. I have a $2000 gaming computer. It can handle the graphics. ;) Alright, I've ranted. I guess I'll wait for an answer. -Spray

Usually you can fix the opengl problem by upgrading your video card drivers from the manufactures site.

1) Make sure your graphics card supports OpenGL in the first place.

2) Also, if you're using nVidia Forceware drivers, some of the most recent ones randomly have trouble with OpenGL. If you suspect that's the case, try rolling back to an earlier version.

3) It could be a problem with the game's assets. Try a clean reinstall of the game itself.

You might also want to post more info - such as system specs and other potentially-related things - when asking for help. People will often be able to offer more assistance when they have more info.

I don't know how, and I don't know why, but this is totally Sheep's fault.
