I got the Platinum Edition a whil back and when I played the MP part, I got no problems. But whe I play the sp nothing happens, its just a gray screen. So I exited the game and looked at the wolf console and this is what I found: "menu file not found: ui/menus.txt, using default"( minus the quotes ) so...What do i do?

Try this. Turn off GL Extensions in the game by changing the configuration file for the game. 1) Launch Wordpad. 2) Open the wolfconfig.cfg file which is located in the Return to Castle Wolfenstein\Main directory on your machine. 3) Locate the line reading: seta r_allowExtensions "1" 4) Change the 1 to a 0. Click File, then save. 5) Launch the game. Disable the WickedGL support in the game. 1) Open Wordpad. 2) Open the WOLFCONFIG.CFG file located in the C:\...\Return to Castle Wolfenstein\Main directory. 3) Located a line reading: seta r_glIgnoreWicked3D "0" 4) Change the "0" to a "1". 5) Save the file and launch the game. Hello Deadeye I'll look out for you in 1.6 but alas no one seems to play now, I've checked the servers regularly the past three weeks but they were all empty, hay ho.
sometimes old games don't work good on new systems. But their is ussaly a way to fix that problum so don't worry just keep searching for patches or another way to run it$
RTCW is from 2001. Not that old. You're thinking of the older games from the late 80's to the mid 90's that have to be run through MS-DOS prompt, now known as Command Prompt in Windows XP. ;)
