Hi, i am a complete 1000% fr00b (with linux, which means that i dont know 99% of all the terms that are being used at linux), and ive just DOWNLOADED the ET installer on my ubuntu 6.06 dapper drake desktop, it says: et-linux-2.55.x86.run Now, i've installed it, many times, but i (really this is horrible for advanced linux users to read) can't find the file that says ''START GAME'' like i'm used to in WINDOWS. Ive also tried ''sudo run et'' or just: ''et'', nothing works, please, how do i play the game, or start it, after I've installed it?

It won't run because you have to be in the et folder, cd/home/wolfet/ cd is change directory, you will have to find where you installed it and change to that folder, yes the command is et, it is easier to make a link to the executable on your desktop, then you can just click it like you do in windows. This link will show you how to install, update and run ET on Linux, note down where you install it as it will not be exactly the same as the tutorial.
