This would work for a entirely new stalker game or for a mod (for who knows to DO that,of course):
What if you make an anomalies/artifacts RANDOM GENERATOR and everytime you start a NEW game , the artifacts are in random places on the maps, alongside WITH the ANOMALIES, of course ? Wouldn't be that more interesting ? Furthermore....bigger maps with (randomly anomalies zones) more artifacts would make game replayable and interesting even if you play it for the 4th time...
Please let me know your input , what you think about that idea and its future.
PS - If anyone CAN do this mod or is ready to help me to do it (I don't have experience in modding but as an observer I know how things, in theory, works) I would appreciate !
i think it would be great, i mentioned something similar in the MOD IDEAS thread in the mod section.
Have they ported the OL mod over to CS yet? Because honestly...the day/night anomoly behavior, plus being able to custom-create artifacts, make that mod really unique & interesting.

THEY wouldn't...meaning the creators of OL. I remember this coming up a while ago, and what I understood was that they just didn't feel like re-creating the mod all over again. They have moved on to other projects, so they just don't have the interest anymore. Frankly...that was a ton of work, and I really can't blame them for not wanting to do it all over again. However, assuming someone gets permission I'm pretty sure they wouldn't have a problem with someone else adapting their mods to CS.
Well I tried the OL 2.2 mod and regarding my idea the guys are WAY to far away from it.Those guys who made OL are cinic people.They moved anomalies around in the DAY TIME !!! And they were putting it in places where they KNEW you would come (THEY were not RANDOM as I suggested!!) In other words , their "randomly" shifting was "scripted" to places to make your life hell.And they implemented badly the "alert sound" system.Some anomalies had no alert sound , but light/brightness (as in the original), some had sound and some hadn't at all so it was easy to step into them without knowing or even get killed.Cinical...:D
PS - I assure you...if you get killed 20 times in a minute ...it won't seem so funny as you thought it would.
