Help with Red Forest ambush -1 reply

Does anyone have any hints on how to get past the ambush at the beginning of the red forest level?

I dont seem to enough health, armour and weapons seem to make little impact.

Any advice would be apprec.

Hug the slope on the left, you might make it to the truck/concrete block before the attack triggers. Keep yourself concealed from the shooters in the building and on the road, and take out the ones that come up to flank you on your right one at a time. Keep the sprint button handy - they do like grenades.

i took no damage when i was on the RIGHT side of the road by the trees. Lean to left or right and take shots. I had my AK scoped, that helped a lot.
