Attempt at a joke title - Anyway - Do Guides respawn? I did quests out of order - I spoke to freedom leader before I spoke to freedom commandant

and ended up killing mercenaries BEFORE I did any commandant quests, then did commandant, and THEN it sent me to kill mercenaries - but I already did...

So the only way to complete the quest to kill mercenaries (because they were all dead - was to kill the remaining freedom at the location (including the guide)

So do guides respawn? He was the guide at farm in dark valley (far south by cordon entrance/exit)

I think they do. Because when a faction is attacked and whiped out at a location, most of the time 2 new squads come as replacements, and they bring a guide. But only when it's a key point I guess. But wait, how did you talk to the leader before talking to the freedom commander? because when you don't talk to the commander first, the doors to the leader are always locked.

For what I've seen if a guide or trader dies someone else replaces them. On my game the Flea market in the Garbage got completely wiped out by mutants, later I came back and its re-populated along with traders and a guide.

I started by jumping through a window - from atop the barbed wire fence - near the northwest corner of freedom base - into the building - and worked my way through the entire base from there exploring all nooks and crannies

I jumped from a slanted rusted pipe that ran from the ground to the roof (don't go onto roof- nothin up there) jumped from midway up the pipe INTO the leaders window :) and his door was still locked... had to jump back out window to leave haha

Well I got a quest to capture antennaes

and I ignored it

and the freedom took care of it themselves, and I noticed that the guide was showing on the map again YAY

so now I'm going back to the already exploded tunnel - for this new quest? from the antennaes and the mercs keep throwing grenades at me.

It's a simple YES. Guide in Cordon got killed by mutant attack and came back about 1 day later.

Nice!

This game seems to have no stealth~ I've killed a person far away from other ppl, while low crouched, no lights or nightvision, a knife or silence shot to the back of their head, and all their allies start attacking me, coming from other sides of towns or other rooms or from behind objects that would completely block visibillity... I mean come on... ...

Yeah these are some of the finer things these Stalker games really need. All the AI shouldn't automatically react to one event. If an NPC is walking around the side of a building and I get him with a knife and no one sees it, you should be able to get away with it. More like HITMAN or something along those lines.
