can somebody explain me how to get a already existing weapon, added to the uniqueweapons.ltx to work?? my technique from stalker S.O.C. doesnt work anymore. i already edited the fsgame.ltx but every time i add a weapon as a unique that the npcs wont carry it, game crashes??

Is it a vanilla weapon in CoP? You may have to edit the character_desc_general.xml file and remove that weapon from the npc loadouts. The npc spawn loadouts maybe asking for that weapon that you have made unique and crashing the game. Its just a guess. Smrtphoneuser would know the answer.

there is no uniqueweapons.ltx in CoP plus i don't really understand what you're trying to do... none of the NPCs carry a unique weapon? You can only buy unique weapons from Nimble or get them as a quest reward. Other than that, there are no uniques in the game.

You can however modify the weapons that nimble hands out. If you look at the .ltx files for some of the weapons and armors, at the very bottom of the file is a section something like [wpn_***_nimble] which as the name suggests is a 'unique' variant only available from 'Nimble' ... As written above, you can add different versions of any of the standard variables to this part of the file, such as ammo limit or damage etc. to create a 'unique' version of the item ... Just remember that the new version wont have all your upgrades mentioned unless you also modify the description file text to reflect the changes, which is a bit harder as it's an .xml file and you must be VERY careful how you edit this file or it will crash you're game '
