Just a question, How would I go about adding more radiation to zaton, jupiter and pripyat? Via all.spawn or is it through script?

thanks

it can be done both ways i guess, personally i prefer doing it via all.spawn, but since there are mods that add anomalies via script i guess radiation could be added the same way.

okay, I managed to decompile the all.spawn. I'm assuming I will also need to gather coordinates but under what .ltx files should I open to add the spots of radiation, and with what code snippet?

thank you :)

doesn't really matter in what alife file you put it as it is based on coordinates and game/levelvertex ids. Just do a search for radioactive inside the file and you'll find what you need.

okay 1 more question... Which line from

[273] ; cse_abstract properties section_name = zone_field_radioactive_average name = zat_b100_zone_field_radioactive_weak position = -339.433319091797,40.080078125,-374.7041015625 direction = 0,0,0

; cse_alife_object properties game_vertex_id = 29 distance = 44.7999992370605 level_vertex_id = 273627 object_flags = 0xffffff3e

; cse_shape properties shapes = shape0 shape0:type = sphere shape0:offset = 0,0,0 shape0:radius = 21.9124526977539

; cse_alife_space_restrictor properties restrictor_type = 0

; cse_alife_custom_zone properties max_power = 0

; cse_alife_anomalous_zone properties offline_interactive_radius = 30 artefact_spawn_count = 32 artefact_position_offset = 0x6a0

; se_zone_anom properties

controls how strong the radiation is? I see the names but no place for values

thanks

weak is weak, average is average and strong is... strong :P Just get the right section you want, the damage is set in gamedata\configs\zones\zone_radioactive but there's no need to change that file.

cool, used the replace function to switch "radioactive_weak" to "radioactive_strong", some glitches with anomalies but I imagine that is because I took that shortcut. All I need now is a coordinate collector and the knowledge of game vertex id's and level vertex id's!

thanks for your help smrtphone :)
