I have 2 computers with win7 on a homegroup network and I can't seem to get the two computers to cooperate and play this game here while on a LAN. The main issue I am having is that they both want to have the STALKER COP dvd in the drive, but I only have 1 copy. This is for a home network, and I bought the game so why won't it work? I tried copying the DVD but that was a no go. I thought maybe a No dvd download but some have junk in them(viruses etc) I looked thorugh the manual and I didn't find anything, also I did a search online and couldn't find my issue anywhere (very weird) so either I am doing something totally noobish or no one plays this game on a LAN?:lulz: Please help me on this one, I am trying to get my girlfriend and my buddies to play this (under rated) game :uhm:

I could be wrong about this, but I'm pretty sure you need a separate original copy (not a pirated copy) for each computer to play in LAN. I'm sure there are some illegal workarounds, but discussing about them would be against the forum rules. Sorry.

Thanks for the fast reply! Btw I like the lesbo DS9 gif, that Dax chick was my favorite in the show, for many reasons =p As far as STALKER COP LAN is concerned, that's a major bummer, although I can see why they do it that way. If they can sort out an online and/or LAN COOP for STALKER 2, I know I could convince a few people to buy the game with me. How awesome would it be to jump a bunch of Monolith or mutants together! If this policy changes, please send me a PM Thanks again!

Why giving something for free (ability to play in LAN with just one copy of the game in this case) when you can make more money by forcing people to buy separate copy for each computer? Developers and publishers don't care about the players. All they care about is us giving as much of our money to them as possible. As long as the anti-piracy laws exist and America continues to be a lawsuit-happy country, FileFront will continue to cover it's ass with that rule to avoid any possibility of being sued for supporting software piracy. So, I don't see it being revoked any time soon. =p
