But I need to know: 1. how to remove the death animation of where the NPC's do backflips when you shoot them
2. how can I make it to where NPC's only die by falling to the ground and bleeding? Unless they are shot in the head or an unlucky recipient of a grenade, they would be on the ground for a good half/game-hour or so before they bleed to death
-- does anyone have any ideas?
Removing animations is fairly difficult. As for the NPC idea unfortunately from my SoC modding experience i havent seen any variables on how fast they bleed out. It all depends on wound size and initial damage. They have to get in a certain range to begin lying on the ground and bleed out to die.
I believe the game engine sets that and ive looked into this question before and i havent found a diffinitive answer.
Damn, I was afraid someone would say that. As of now I have NPC's bleeding when I shoot them, but they dont fall to the ground. All of a sudden they just die. Too bad I cant define a range of life to make them fall to the ground
nooooooooo dont get rid of the back flips.....i have some bloody funny things happen to enemies after blowing them up with grenades.
best ive had was a bandit member was near an open top 44 gallon drum..i blew him up and he LANDED in the drum...many lulz was had
edit: another time i had a freedom member land in said type of drum, his arms head and legs were sticking out the top, but his arse, chest and thighs were in the drum. again many lulz were had
I didn't make it!

I've had about 5 NPC's of about the 300+/- I've killed so far laying on the ground alive but... severely injured... I'd like to talk to them when they're like that, and hear them beg for mercy/medkits although they're your enemy... maybe you could befriend them if you spare them?
