not a mod per se but how do i increase the frequency of artefact spawns in the game? its annoying cause the spawns are so rare and coded that getting them seems almost linear. the same anomalies spawn the same artefacts. is there any way of randomising it/ increasing the rate of any respawns?
Edit artefacts.ltx and zones.ltx, however it might not change anything because so many artifacts appear to be placed and not random.

in it they have artefacts that they can spawn, the chance of that artefact, and BirthProbability = 0.1 (in most cases) i just went and changed it too 0.3 for a 30% chance of spawning an artefact. Interestingly though there is another line farther down spawn_blowout_artefacts = off ( i wonder what happens if you change it to on.....)
EDIT= just so you know some of them have more than one mention of BirthProbability i think its for the different strengths of anomaly. Also there are lines referring to idle times..... so maybe changing that to a lower value might help also.
Question is whether the values actually work, because I've changed many of them to super high values (like 100% chance to spawn ten artefacts) and nothing changed in-game, and i had started a new game too.
its annoying cause i started a new game and all the cool and rare artefacts like bubble no longer spawn either. i've only been able to find koloboks and souls.
I would def. try turning this "spawn_blowout_artefacts = off" to "ON" and see if that works. I doubt any new or changes to current ones can take place if this setting is left off. You shouldn't have to start a new game for this to take effect either. None of those changes should require a new game. But if you're already half way through a game and have collected alot of artifacts already then yes I would highly suggest doing so, especially for test purposes.

That wasn't obvious? By my 4th artifact I noticed they weren't going to respawn, or be everywhere... but rather in specific or out of place anomalies. (all anomalies are out of place, but the really OOP ones contain artefacts.)
I doubt it will be easy to change what artifacts spawn where and all that. But by enabling them to spawn after blowouts should help, as it may put a random artifact back into an anomoly you already grabbed from previously. I'm guessing this is how it works. As I doubt to that they will just be at random places. Like we've seen in SOC.

I wouldn't know, it could be a mix of the two, though it seems less and less likely.
