You cannot if the 3d model does not support it. Unless you can make a new model otherwise your outta luck.

Yup. I tried both in SOC and CS to add scope options to the AKSU. It won't work. You trying to add the silencer option is pretty much the same thing. It will require the 3D model to show it when holding the weapon. Obviously they don't support all the options.

The way 3D models work is that they are completely built but in the model itself certain sections can be set to object.visible = false and become visible when you actually attach a silencer from an inventory.

The only thing that just poped into my head is maybe there is a way to make weapons that dont support it just play a different "silenced" sound say from a vintorez and have tweaked hit power but obviously missing the visual part. Im too lazy to look into the files right not but check and see if there is a reference to a specific model in the same blocks as the silencer_ variables are.

Did u copy & paste this direct from your LTX game file? Cause there is a typo in there > snd_silncer_shot = weapons\w_ak74_shot1

Also I wouldn't bother with the SVD too much. If you really looking to have a silent sniper rifle. Edit the Vintorez for better bullet speed, accuracy and fire distance. This way it's already silent and the 9x39mm is easier to get in-game compared to the 7.62x54mm for SVD. Not to mention the Vintorez can do full-auto if needed and you can already sprint with it too. Also what I did in my mod update (coming soon) is I edited the Vintorez upgrade file to change the mag size. So that after the upgrade you'll have 20 round mags. Hopefully I'll have my mod update out soon which will add changes to all the game weapons. Some other features / changes will be... - Realistic RPM settings for weapons - Sprint allowed with all weapons - SVD and PKM are pretty deadly weapons. Can shoot 1000 meters - MP5 and BM16 can be equipped as pistol - Beretta fires in single & full-auto (fully upgraded Beretta kicks ass :D ) Changes to upgrades... - Rifles hold 30 rounds by default, 40 after upgrade - MP5 holds 30 rounds by default, 50 after upgrade - Beretta holds 15 rounds by default, 30 after upgrade - Sniper rifles hold 10 rounds by default, 20 after upgrade - PKM now holds 200 rounds by default, instead of 100 I will include alot of other fixes and changes. I didn't want to offset or unbalence the game too much. I'm a little behind though as I didn't get the update out as quick as I was hoping too. The mod + it's update will most likely only work for 1.5.03 / 1.5.04 Once I release it, then I'll get to work on editing it all to work for 1.5.05 and then release as a full mod (including update) for any of the 1.5.05 users.

.the sniper rifle also needs a night scope. bipod, muzzle break, flash supressor, diffrent camo patterns. yeh thats customization for you.

Fully auto Beretta would be nice, but I'm afraid sprinting with -all- weapons isn't exactly possible. Turning sprinting on on the RPG-7 causes a CTD when you attempt to run with it. The error cites something that sounds like its saying the game doesn't have a run animation for it. Horseshit, if you ask me. This wasn't an issue in SoC. Sprinting with the Sniper rifles, PKM & Gauss Rifle works just fine, and the RG-6 even has a run animation. This just makes no sense.
