Hello everyone. I don't want that much rain in stalker cs. How can I accomplish that? Thanks.

I think that rain in S.T.A.L.K.E.R adds beautiful atmosphere to the game and makes it more challenging.

You're right. I just wanted to temporarily stop all that rain (PC problems).

You can stop it all-together if u modify the weather scripts.

I don't think it will be easy for me to look those weather scripts over, but I'll give it a good try. I remember using a mod (I don't remember it's name), a few days ago, that had a good rain diminishing effect; I don't know if it was intentional. In the untouched SCS it rains every 15 minutes or so, especially when there's big firing going on, and that makes aiming, shooting quite a job, having to keep up with all the lag. I already tried low screen resolutions without success. Thanks again.

Its actually pretty simple mate, you shouldn't have any trouble. You need to extract and work with the file \gamedata\configs\environment\dynamic_weather_graphs.ltx. There are values for clear, cloudly, raining and thunder weather types represented as a decimal (so percentage chance). As long as everything adds up to one you should be fine. Hope that helps.

Just download some sort of ClearSky mod that includes weather files already, then tweak them to your liking.
