The Clear Sky NV's are darker, and they only really outline things if they're on the horizon (or in between you and a lightsource). Sneaking around a building at night is pretty much useless because they don't make seeing any easier.

StarkeRealm: Open gamedata\sounds\weapons and look for the files Zenoth mentioned and make a backup of them. Find the file 'no_sound' and make 3 copies of it, then name each copy 'nv_off', 'nv_start' and 'nv_loop'.

StarkeRealm;4578944Honestly, I would probably import them via premiere or something, and work on them in that. I don't know. And I'd actually cut the sound set before I did that.

There's no need to edit any audio files. In the sounds\weapons folder there is a file called 'no_sound'. If you make 3 copies of that and rename them 'nv_off', 'nv_start' and 'nv_loop', that'll remove the sound. Make a backup of those 3 files, then copy these ones in:

no_sound

Flyingdebris;4578948i don't see what all the fuss is about. I love the new clear sky NVGs better than the old ones. I couldn't see anything with the old ones unless it was the high grade blue vision, otherwise it was all washed out in a bright green that made things harder to see.

It's a matter of personal preferences, I'm forcing no one here to use SoC's NV in Clear Sky. =p
