Hello everyone. You may or may not recognize me from a few weeks (months?) earlier. Truth be told, I rarely used this forum once I found the GSC Game Forums. But now I'm here again, making a thread. You may remember my earlier project for Shadow of Chernobyl, which went through several name stages (Grammar Nazi Mod to Storyline Mod and finally Wrath Of Chernobyl). Well, when I heard that Kanyhalos will not be recreating Oblivion Lost for Clear Sky, I decided I might as well try to recreate my own Wrath of Chernobyl for Clear Sky. My hopes are that it might be used by some people in place of Oblivion Lost. I'm not trying to be unique, or necessarily add things never done or thought of before in Clear Sky. To be honest, this is more for my entertainment, and releasing it and letting other people use it is just a bonus. I don't have many features planned, though a few of them are the following: []Reintegrating monster parts (boar hooves, snork legs, etc; I have never seen any drop in Clear Sky) []Reintegrating emissions and blowouts (They may already be in-game, but I plan to make them do things.) []Adding some more loot to stalkers, both useful and useless stuff (like a repair kit and maybe something like a harmonica, or a cardboard box [Lol]) []Allowing the bloody traders to actually buy all weapons and armor (It seems I can never sell my weapons to ANYONE!) []Allowing other stalkers to be able to buy and sell all items, though for stupid prices. []Bring back the looting STALKER corpses for money that was in the old Wrath of Chernobyl. []Maybe throw in some "find special loot" missions, not sure on this yet. []Integrate the Vehicles mod, if I get permission to do so. []Respec a few weapons, to make them better or worse, depending on the weapon. []Add new weapons and new ammunitions, to spice things up a bit. []Add new weapon and armor upgrades. []Add new artifacts and possibly more artifacts (I'm thinking that Emissions will cause new artifacts to spawn throughout the Zone, and that Blowouts will cause new mutants to spawn throughout the Zone) []Some other stuff that I forgot while typing this up. []Possibly make artifacts not suck. So those are planned features. And at my current rate of success, none of them will ever happen. I can't get anything to work for Clear Sky. Absolutely nothing. Either it errors saying the script or function is nil, or it just plain doesn't call. If there are any modders out there (particularly scripters, though modders of any sort would be appreciated) who maybe want to help out here or there (or be on the WOC team), please send me a PM and we'll see what we can do. No planned ETA yet, but expect it to be a long ways away unless I can get some help with modding STALKER. Also post any ideas, suggestions, comments, or concerns about any of the features. Feedback is good.

Wait until the next patch at least, which should be in a few days. GSC is claiming that the patch will hammer out a lot of the "script or function is nil" CTD crap, which in turn should hopefully get rid of several gamebreaker bugs, and make the transitioning to stronger modding a more smooth process.

and the next patch should be an optimiztion patch. and the next one allows clear sky to be installed in your ass. and the following one... oh you get the idea.

It seems right now is the time to brainstorm and come up with new ideas while making small mods to experiment with individual parts of the game. But yeah, lots of people are looking forward to the big mod projects like this. Just waiting for patches to stabalize the game some more.

I tried putting monster parts back in the game and I think it crashed any time new monsters spawned.

It may sound kind of lame, but I can edit for you if you plan on changing alot of text. Too many modders out there put in crap writing, and it kind breaks the fourth wall in my opinion.

Kudos to you sir!I hope you can have all the mods in one package soon!Seriously hope you can look at the vehicle mod found here.... Send big files the easy way. Files too large for email attachments? No problem! Clearsky vehicle mod. This is for 1.5.03,but sayes it should work for 1.5.04.......I have since had absolutely no luck what-so-ever.:uhm:
