Yep this happens when you're inventory is full of stuff.. you most probably have a weight increase mod active and thats why you have extra crap. Leave stuff behind at stashes that you wont use for a while.. e.g. if you have 40 grenades, take 10 and leave the rest!

This will happen to some regardless of what's in your inventory. Even starting a new game and having nothing in your inventory may even do this. It's slow bringing up the inventory, body search or trader screnes on low-end machines. If you do have ALOT in your inventory, more then a full page of items, where you are forced to scroll. This will also occur for some. Also will most likely happen if you have a trader mod that allows them to sell ALOT of the games overall items. I was using this on my machine and there was little lag before, just enough that it created a small delay when hitting the inventory key or doing a dead body search. But with my traders selling everything in the game (for testing purposes), I find that just bringing up the trader menu or buying/selling with them creates alot of lagg. It goes away once the menus are gone though. This shouldn't occur just because you have alot of 1 type of item; i.e. 40 grenades, 50 medkits, 100 banages. I found adding a transparent menu to my CS game cleared this up for the most part. I got the files from the sleeping bag mod.

Well I dont leave anything behind lol, It all = rubels @ trader!! I get that habbit from online RPG gaming i think hehe. (HUGE WoW fan) Come to think of it, Stalker MMORPG would be a great idea! But I leave things in stashes around all the main area's, for Garbage my stash is the broken power box in the caved in roof building right next to Flea Market. Cordon I use the safe at Neutral Base right where the Military commander is kept. My third and final stash is in Aprogram Stalker base, just where the back exit is, there is a box. I also plant all the weapons from dead stalkers there as that place is prone to bandit attacks.. so after a while you can shift it all to trader and make some cash and you're also keeping the game lag free instead of leaving weapons scattered all over the place! I leave medkits/antirads/grenades in them mainly, but also the odd scope or silencer etc, never know when you might find a new gun and want to upgrade it!!

Once you have a nice amount of cash, or are too heavy/lazy to be bothered taking battered guns to the trader one at a time for a pittance, just pick up the discarded gun and place it in a convenient body, that way the game will clean it up for you.

Yup, I do that with the PPM's and other worthless junk. Anything below AK74s i just leave them in corpses. At earlier stages of the game though i tend to pick what I can up as cash is needed heavily until you get a full upgraded good suit and gun.

Oh and by the way.. I read a tip somewhere and its pretty cool.. If you have a ton of crap to sell in your stash and dont want to make trips, find a corpse, fill it up with all your junk, hold shift+Return and drag the corpse to the trader! take all inside and then sell! Works well only for short trips.. I wouldnt recommend doing it from one side of a map to the other lol. But for instance, the stalker camp back exit i mentioned, there is always corpses there from the constant bandit fights and the trader is only around the corner.. that would be a good place to use that method!

Ha im not good with draging things around really ticks me off and i once lost the body and all my goodies, it was not a perma body. even then then with the perma bodys gone. Im just wondering if ther is something in the data base that can be changed inventory amount etc. On SOC I did the same became a pack rat and never had this prob. Ill take a look see and keep building my new PC. Thanks Guys
