I have searched everywhere on every forum and I have come to the conclusion that I am the only one with this problem. Here goes... When I start the game in dx10 it opens up three seperate windows. One of the windows says "not responding". It starts the opening credits for the game in a wannabe windowed mode. I press the fullscreen button to enter into the real windowed mode and press it again so it will fill up my entire screen (alt-enter never works). Now another problem occurs...my mouse pointer is restricted to an invisible window that is about a third of the size of my screen. I cant press any buttons on the lower half of my screen or access any items on the right side of my invenory. This makes the game completley unplayable. Heres what I've tried. Reinstalling the game, reinstalling my graphics drivers, reinstalling direct x, selecting the properties menu from the shortcut and running it maximized, fooled around with all of the grafics settings, uninstalling and reinstalling my audio drivers, and screaming a bunch. The problem only seem to happen in dx10, when i switch to dx9 the menu is fine. Now, hear me out. I have no problems playing with lower resolutions and graphics settings but swithing from dx10 to dx9 is where I draw the line. My box is more than adequate to run this game and damn it, i paid for dx10! Plus i get way lower FPS in dx9 any way. If anybody has any ideas or just want to comfort me feel free.

right-click on the Clear Sky launch icon, select Properties, and in the Run box change the setting to 'Maximized' and click Apply then OK.
Thanx but I tried that. It will start in full screen but I still get the "not responding" box and the evil invisible box.
Yep same problem here! I can't effectively use the game menu to select anything owing to this 'invisible' window bug which restricts the movement of the mouse cursor. I don't even know how to go back to DX9 now cos it has been effectively made unselectable by this bug! Any way back anyone, or do I just reinstal and avoid DX10 or wait for another patch?:mad:
This is an old thread. honestly i have the same problem and i've just decided a new mobo will fix this. I tried many things as well, but this bug just takes the cake. I thought it was my 16x9 monitor even. I have a mobo with the nvidia chipset. this piece of crap. i will stick with intel chipsets for now on.
