Game crash trying to get back to garbage from Cordon -1 reply

I returned to Cordon from Garbage after getting mugged looking for fangs PDA, I went to go and vist the ******* in Cordon now I can t get back game just crashes I tried with the guides and tried walking up to the far outpost and getting through that way same result. Im playing with latest patch 1.5.0.5 hav had many crashes through the game and have been able to fix them totaly stumped with this one

Have searched a few forums and tryed a few things including this suggestion .......script_binding = bind_level_changer.bind. I opened that file and it was allready there

Am Using XP Pro, Core2duo 2.13 , geforce 8800 gt , 4 gig 800 mgh ram

not sure, but since no one else has answared I will give it my best shot. I have a lesser computer than you and finshed the game 3 times. I never had a patch. I also stayed on the main mission and avoided everything else. check graphics settings. silly as it is, I have a graphics card that has 512mb vid mem but the game ran best with it turned down a bit instead of it turned up all the way..also try it with out dynamics useing static only. Just as a experament untill some sees this post and counterdicts it... >AMD single core >2 gig ram >ATI 512mb graphics card AGP 8x >4 gig page file >no patches... >beat game 3 times without errors or crashes.. >
